Muppets, or artificial squid as they are also known, are a favourite for making up your own rigs. Ideal for adding to booms and spreads to your own specifications. They come in a range of colours – red, pink, yellow, silver, gold, luminous, black to name a few. Sizes vary from 3.1/2” upwards. Small muppets are great for whiting and the larger types are deadly for Ling.
Worms are ideal for cod and Pollock and work well on a flowing trace. Again a variety of colours and sizes are available.
